You may not be aware, but enamel erosion is a big problem in many people regardless of age. So if you have been wondering, If it is possible to restore enamel in your teeth, this homemade toothpaste recipe is all you need to make your own.
Where ever there is a chance to reduce or remineralize your pearly whites, better take it otherwise you will be dealing with tooth decay before you know it.
Tooth Enamel is not a glamorous subject, but it is the hard lifeless white part of the tooth that keeps your teeth safe and healthy. So to keep up with good health hygiene habits, coupled with minimal living lifestyle, I carefully select what products are going to use.
They say the condition of your mouth is a good representation of your overall health, so when I started noticing a little while ago that my enamel was getting ruined or there was just an issue with my enamel, it freaked me out. And i decided to do something about it. My starting point was to really make sure that i was using a toothpaste that was benefiting my enamel, my overall oral health and that it was also completely natural and cost-effective too.
So that was when I thought possibly making it myself would be the best way to control what goes in there and what meets my needs. With that said, I’ve been using this natural remineralizing toothpaste for a while now and it’s been doing amazing for my teeth.
I can’t speak highly enough about it, but if this is what you need, you be glad to know that you can actually make it yourself.
What Do You Need To Make Remineralizing ToothPaste At Home?
Here is what you will need to make remineralizing toothpaste for your oral tooth care. You’ll need:
And the beauty of it all, you can get all of these ingredients either at the grocery store or at a health food store or even on Amazon you can just find the ingredients and order them and they’ll come directly to your house
How To Make Organic remineralizing Tooth Paste At Home?
To make your remineralizing toothpaste at home, here is your recipe where you start by getting:
- 3/4 cup of calcium carbonate
- 1/3 cup of baking soda
- 1/2 a cup of coconut oil
Then mix it all together and then add the trace minerals that you got from Amazon( are ussually in capsule form) however you might be able to find it in powdered form but I just found these capsules here on Amazon and I like it because I actually take the capsules orally too but you’ll want a tablespoon of trace minerals
Just opening up the capsules use about 12 capsules which equals about a tablespoon and open up the capsules and letting the powdered trace minerals go into your toothpaste and then putting in about 20 drops of peppermint essential oil and stirring it all up
Then put it in a glass container when its ready after whipping the mix together, now if you have old containers of homemade remineralizing toothpaste that has almost the exact same ingredients as what you just made, use that container to store your paste.
If not, any jar with food grade cooking ingredients can be used once the jar is empty, all you have to do is just fill it up yourself with your own recipe of homemade remineralizing toothpaste. As I said, if you have any little jars like that used for cooking condiments, then that’s awesome or any little containers will do.
Does The Homemade Remineralizing Toothpaste Taste Well?
This toothpaste doesn’t taste horrible but it doesn’t taste amazing either, I’ve been using kinds of toothpaste that I’ve made myself for the past couple of years now so I’ve gotten kind of used to not really enjoying the taste of my toothpaste but if it’s a big issue for you, then consider adding some Morning Pep Pure Birch Xylitol (Keto Diet Friendly) Sweetener which is (Not From Corn) but also GLUTEN FREE For whatever reasons, you may not really find Xylitol as the best suitable ingredient for your homemade toothpaste recipe, in this case, then consider using Original Stevia Liquid Drops 8 Ounce which is also Zero Calorie Natural Sugar Substitute turns out that some people like to add stevia too sometimes.
On the extreme side, will also find other folks who just choose to use essential oils best suited for this natural toothpaste.
If you are getting a pre-packaged homemade toothpaste recipe, you may get it through the post with an orange essential oil which is actually also good for your teeth and makes it taste really good too
With that said, if you are going to try out different essential oils, make sure that they’re safe to consume orally because some essential oils are only meant to be used on topically on your skin.
Make sure you are extra careful with that you can do a bit of research to see which essential oils are best for your teeth and try out a couple different ones for different tastes but yeah I hope you guys enjoy this recipe let me know how it goes through the comment box below and if you have any questions, am happy to answer.
